Stories like this hurt me to the core. I know I don't know the whole situation nor the story but LIFE without parole, at the age of 16? Excuse my french, but this is BULL SHIT and something needs to be done.
She's now 29 by the way, seriously she doesn't deserve to die in that prison!

This breaks my heart. She was a child, a child who was abused and exploited and she did a terrible thing as a child, but I wonder if the "justice" system would show the same intolerance for her pimp had he taken HER life? Let's consult the statistics.....UM, NOPE. It is built into our system that women like Sara somehow *deserve* what they get, but men---even men as despicable as that GG bastard---get a pass when they do society the "favor" of "getting rid" of prostitutes. This poor girl...in jail for thirteen years: the same number of years as she was old when she first sold her body. TRAGIC. Our justice system is BROKEN.

Hah. I totally new it was you best friend but yeah I seen this and I was so angry like really? How could you do something like that to a CHILD and you made a very valid point because I bet GG wouldn't have gotten life for taken this CHILD's life. On top of that, did they even take into consideration the effect he had on all those children that he turned into prostitutes. I mean seriously, he was a grown ass man and she was 13! That was one year older than my sister. Ridiculous.
